The Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) is a nationally recognized entry level credential in the field of Early Childhood Education. It is issued by the Council for Professional Recognition. APT’s free online course is designed for any professional early child care educator considering applying for the CDA Credential. This 6-week online course will answer the most frequently asked questions, clarify the somewhat confusing language used to describe the CDA credentialing process, and address eligibility requirements and questions about applying, demonstrating proficiency, and earning the CDA Credential. Participants will gain a solid sense of the full credentialing process with this straightforward and informative course.
The certificate of 15 training hours obtained upon completion of this course can be used toward the 120 training clock hours needed to achieve the CDA Credential.
